What should I expect during my class?
Hand building is a great place to start if you are new to ceramics and clay, especially if you are inclined towards exploration and thinking outside the box. During your trial session, you will have the chance to try out the basic techniques and learn about the overall ceramic process.
What is included?
Bisque firing + glazing with transparent (shiny or matte) or white glaze.
If you wish to glaze, please book a 'Painting with Glaze' session separately.
What will I have at the end and moving forward?
Even though it is only a trial, by the end your first piece will be ready to be bisque-fired! We will notify you when your piece is ready to be glazed.
What should I expect during my class?
A basic introduction to the famed potter's wheel - during your trial, our instructors will demonstrate how to prepare and wedge your clay. This session is about gaining familiarity with clay and throwing techniques.
What is included?
Bisque firing + glazing with transparent (shiny or matte) or white glaze. We will only fire 1 piece from your session; if you wish for an additional piece to be fired we will charge AED 70.
If you wish to glaze, please book a 'Painting with Glaze' session separately.
What will I have at the end and moving forward?
By the end of your trial, you will have a basic, but finished, work to call your own. We will bisque fire your piece and notify you when it is ready to glaze.
What should I expect during my class?
If you are dipping into ceramics for the first time and would like a little taster of both classes we offer, join us for this mixed trial! During this session, you will spend 1 hour on the potter's wheel followed by 1 hour at the hand building station. Our instructors will take you through the basics of working with clay and the ceramic process.

Our hand building class is designed to allow students the freedom necessary to create an artistic style of their own. With the guidance and encouragement of our instructors, you will learn the basics of hand building - pinching, coiling, and slab - and explore how you can shape and mold your creativity. By the end of your 4 sessions, your masterpiece will be ready for the world.

Explore this iconic ceramic technique, with our instructors as your guides. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing - preparing, centering, opening, and pulling clay - as you work to shape mugs, vases, bowls, and more.

What should I expect during my class?
Learn how to paint and decorate bisque using glaze and underglazes.
This session is a great option for those who do not want to work with wet clay - purchase ready-made bisque (we have many options) and spend a relaxing hour designing and painting with glaze. This is also a fun weekend activity to do with friends and family.
